How Refom works

Drop in one file or a hundred, pick a destination format for each, and press Convert. Refom queues every job, shows live progress per file, and downloads each result the moment it’s ready — no page reload and no waiting room.

1. Add files— drag them onto the drop zone or tap it to browse. Mix formats freely and add as many as you like.
2. Pick a format— choose an output for each file, or use “Set all to” to send a whole batch to the same format at once.
3. Convert— press Convert (or Convert all). Finish two or more files and a “Download all as ZIP” button appears.

Everything stays on your device

Your files are never uploaded. Image, PDF, spreadsheet, document, data, archive, and font conversions all run instantly using your browser’s own Canvas and File APIs. Audio and video conversions use a compact WebAssembly build of FFmpeg that downloads once per session and then also runs locally — the conversion engine is fetched the first time you need it, but the file you’re converting never crosses the network.

Frequently asked questions

Do you upload my files anywhere?: No — conversion happens locally in your browser tab, and nothing about the file itself is sent to a server. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Is Refom free?: Yes. No account, no sign-up, no payment.
Is there a file size limit?: There’s no fixed cap. Since conversion runs on your device, the practical limit is your browser’s available memory — very large audio or video files just take longer.
Which browsers are supported?: Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. A few formats have narrower support — AVIF encoding, for example, currently only works in Chromium-based browsers.
Can I convert several files at once?: Yes — add as many as you like, set formats individually or all at once with “Set all to,” then run them as a queue with “Convert all.”
